 Service as a Two-Way Street
At Ecker, service is a two-way street. On the one hand, we have been committed for years to providing consistent, excellent service to our customers. Our customers can rely on us time and time again to get the job done with a minimum of oversight and worry on their part. However, our outstanding service record would not be possible without receiving outstanding service from our vendors and suppliers. At Ecker, we work hard to build and maintain solid relationships with our suppliers and vendors.
In order to provide outstanding service to our customers over the long haul, we are committed to researching and testing new products and the latest technologies. Our suppliers and vendors meet periodically with our Estimating Staff to introduce their new products to us, whether it’s a new type of paint or coating, a new type of drywall, or a new type of bead. We test those products thoroughly at the jobsites carefully studying the results. If we discover a process improvement that can lead to a higher degree of customer satisfaction, we will present our findings to our customers and help them decide that a change is warranted.
 It is this continuous improvement philosophy that led to our widespread use of paper-faced metal drywall bead, instead of the more traditional metal bead. The results have been tremendous both for our customers, and the end user, the homeowner.
Service is also about versatility, dependability, reliability, and keeping commitments. At Ecker, we are able to adjust to the unexpected and the unanticipated. We have the human and logistical resources to take an unusual project with an unusual schedule, and make the adjustments necessary to accommodate our customers’ needs.
