Process
- Establishment of a Zone Management philosophy in our marketplaces-This has allowed us to develop Superintendent teams in each zone, with each zone team containing one Superintendent for each trade we perform. We hold each Superintendent accountable to help his/her fellow Superintendents out in order to achieve maximum quality for our overall product.
- Quarterly Field Mission Statement Poll-This is a survey we seek from our customers asking them about our performance and whether they would recommend us for their next job. By listening attentively to our customers’ needs, we can stay focused on continually improving our processes.
- Similarly, we continually seek out feedback from our Foremen and Superintendent’s so that we may continually improve our processes for our customers.
- We have adopted the PLAN, DO, CHECK and ACT system:
- PLAN - Planning the job answering the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How Questions
- DO - Doing what is promised at every stage of construction
- CHECK - Checking that everything is proceeding as planned
- ACT - Acting to improve processes, to avoid nonrecurring problems and increase quality
- Developed a way to install drywall around windows and openings to reduce seams, resulting in a higher quality product.
- To protect our customer’s property on the Residential side, we always cover tubs, windows, and even the garage floor in order to minimize the amount of excess material we leave behind when we apply paint and taping compound
- During our final drywall inspections, we use innovative illumination techniques to further uncover even the smallest of blemishes, because we too are homeowners.
- On the safety-side, we have partnered with others to provide bilingual, joint safety training to our workforce.
