The Ecker Solution

The Ecker Solution

The traditional approach

Building practices have long followed a traditional pattern or approach. The developer or general contractor employs a project manager. It is then the responsibility of the project manager to hire, schedule, and coordinate the various trades needed to complete the job. If the project calls for 16 different trades, up to 16 different subcontractors may be needed, requiring 16 different contracts and in the end, 16 different punch lists.

The inherent problems to this approach are obvious. Scheduling can become a logistical nightmare for the project manager, especially if one of the trades falls behind or is unable to fulfill a contract. Further, many of these trades have no allegiance to one another. They may not know each other, or share a common bond. And since they all have their own agenda, your job is only important until they move on to the next one.

The Ecker Solution

Ecker provides multiple subcontracting trades under one contract. If your project requires drywall, metal studs, painting, stucco, plastering, or acoustical tile, we can put together the appropriate teams and handle all scheduling and coordination.

Gone are the multiple contracts and multiple punch lists. If your project manager has a question regarding any of our trades, he or she only has to talk to one team leader. The rest is our responsibility.

Another key advantage in using an Ecker company is that all of our tradesmen work as a team. Everyone on the job shares a commitment to quality, service and craftsmanship. A company that stands behind its work today and will do so tomorrow.
